An invitation to honor what was lost and step into who you are becoming
Becoming the Elders
THIS IS FOR YOU IF…
. . .
You feel the absence of initiation and rites of passage in your own life.
The one who never received what they needed
You are ready to grieve what was missing and step into what is being called forth.
The one standing at a threshold
You long for intentional community with people who are doing the deep work.
The one hungry for belonging
You are ready to be witnessed in who you are becoming and to witness others in return.
The one ready to step forward
The Process — Three Movements
INTEGRATING
We will spend time with the younger parts of ourselves — the inner child, the inner adolescent. Then, honor the places where we were unsupported, misunderstood, or left to figure things out alone. What was missing deserves to be named.
AN INITIATION
We will gather around an ancestor altar, bringing symbols and photographs that honor the struggles, resilience, and gifts of those who came before us. Together we acknowledge that none of us arrived here alone.
A BECOMING
Through ritual, reflection, and community witnessing, we will name who we are becoming and be seen in that becoming. This is one of the oldest forms of healing there is.
After this
a Foundation of self-trust
You will leave with a clearer relationship to your own wisdom and a deeper sense of your place in the communal fabric.
grief that has been held & witnessed
The places in you that were never witnessed — the younger parts that were unsupported or misguided — will have been seen and honored.
a commitment made
You will have named who you are becoming and offered that becoming to the community. That kind of witnessing changes things.
